Utter Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) will not be
held in this year. The Govt. of Utter Pradesh/ Basic Education Department
decided to hold the UPTET in February 2013. The UPTET 2013 will be accepted
online. The online application process will be start from January, 2013.
The Basic Education Department almost completed the preparation
of the upcoming UPTET and will be issue an advertisement for the same.
According to the notification issued by the National Council
for Teacher Education, It is compulsory to be a teacher in Govt. schools up to
class 8th, the candidate must have pass TET.
According to the an another notification issued by the
National Council for Teacher Education, The TET shall be held twice a year.
Uttar Pradesh was held the TET first time in November 2011. In 2012, the government
has not conducted the TET. That’s why the government wants to conduct UPTET in
February and July 2013. Basic Education Department has begun preparations of
UPTET February, 2013. Secondary Education Examination Board is regulatory
authority to conduct the UPTET 2013. The test will be held under supervision of
State Council of Educational Research and Training.
